UC/CSU Requirements

DCP teachers and administrators closely monitor student progress to make sure each student is on-track toward fulfilling the both the California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC) entrance requirements.

DCP graduation requirements consist of two important elements:

  • Passing all UC- and CSU-required classes with a grade of “C” or better
  • Gaining admission to a four-year college or university

The following CSU-required classes (also known as the A-G requirements) are part of the DCP college-prep curriculum:

  • 4 years of English
  • 3 years of Mathematics
  • 2 years of Foreign Language
  • 2 years of Social Science
  • 2 years of Lab Science
  • 1 year of Fine Arts
  • 1 year of College-prep Electives
