DCP has been recognized as a Top Non-Profit by Philanthropedia, sponsored by Guidestar.

In September 2010 we were honored to learn that a group of 96 experts identified DCP as a top nonprofit working in the middle-secondary education field. We are proud to have earned the distinction of a Philanthropedia Top Nonprofit.

DCP, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, relies upon the generosity of individuals, companies and foundations to support critical elements of the schools’ mission not publicly funded, such as after-school and intervention programs, college success counseling, and development of new charter schools. To support our schools we must fundraise nearly $1 million annually to maintain our high-quality academic college-prep program.

Ways to Give:

• Cash Gifts - Gifts from individuals directly impact the fiscal health of DCP schools and the quality of our academic programs. Your employer may match your gift to DCP. Please contact your HR department about this opportunity.
• Securities - Transfer stock, bonds or mutual funds to DCP and avoid paying gains tax on appreciated assets.
• Legacy Giving By remembering DCP in your estate planning, you can leave a lasting impact on the lives of San Jose youth and be included in our Community Circle.
• Tributes and Memorials - You may wish to remember, honor or congratulate someone by making a gift in the name of that person.
• In-Kind Giving - You may want to consider donating a tangible gift. Gifts may be program or classroom supplies, contributions of technology, or other useful items.
